Q&A - General

What is the scale of the different maps?

  • Grand Utopia, Mygotopia and their addons are in 1:1 scale. This means that one kilometer traveled in-game is equal to one real kilometer. As a result, in-game time also runs at real speed.
  • More American Cities mods are add-ons to the basic American Truck Simulator map. Consequently, they are at the same scale as the latter. That is, at 1:20 scale.

Are the mods free?

It depends on the mod in question:

EURO TRUCK SIMULATOR

  • Grand Utopia - Standalone map : this mod is free and is available on TruckyMods.
  • Mygotopia - GU add-on : The alpha versions of this mod are reserved only for European Dreamer and Globetrotter members of my Patreon. Public versions will be free but are not yet available.
  • Patrons Island - GU add-on : This mod is only available to all members of my Patreon.
  • Akokan Island - GU add-on : This mod is only available to European Dreamer and Globetrotter members of my Patreon.

AMERICAN TRUCK SIMULATOR

  • Grand Utopia of America - Standalone map : this mod is not yet available.
  • More American Cities (California) - Base map add-on : This mod is free and is available on TruckyMods.
  • More American Cities (Colorado) - Base map add-on : This mod is available for purchase via the Patreon shop or via the American Dreamer and Globetrotter subscriptions.
  • More American Cities (Idaho) - Base map add-on  : This mod is available for purchase via the Patreon shop or via the American Dreamer and Globetrotter subscriptions.

Is the Grand Utopia map compatible with other maps?

No. Grand Utopia is an independent map due to its different scale (1:1). Therefore, officially, it is not compatible with any other map, nor with the Euro Truck Simulator 2 base map.

However, there may be compatibility mods that make Grand Utopia compatible with other maps. Google will be your friend to find them!
